Rules for applying to the army

The application process has to be completed in 03 steps. Each step is described in detail below.

1st step

In the case of General (GD) candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

First SMS: SAINIK <space> 1st Thee Letter of SSC Board <space> ROLL <space> Passing Year <space> District Code and send to 16222.

 

In the case of BNCC candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

First SMS: SAINIK <space> 1st Thee Letter of SSC Board <space> ROLL <space> Passing Year <space> District Code <space> Write BNCC and send to 16222.

 

In the case of Army (SS) candidates, the first SMS should be sent by typing as follows.

First SMS: SAINIK <space> 1st Thee Letter of SSC Board <space> ROLL <space> Passing Year <space> District Code <space> SS and send to 16222.

2nd step

If the candidates send the first SMS correctly, a PIN number will be given in the return SMS. The candidate should send one more SMS using the PIN number as described below. 200 / - will be deducted from the examination fee for sending this SMS.

Second SMS: SAINIK <space> YES <space> PIN <space> Mobile Number and send SMS to 16222.

 

Note that in the case of female candidates, the first and the second SMS should be sent by typing FSAINIK instead of SAINIK.

 

3rd step

If the second SMS is successfully sent, the candidate will be given an SMS with a User ID and Password. Using this User ID and Password, log in to the sainik.teletalk.com.bd website and fill up Bangladesh Army Application Form.
