Dhaka University Job Circular 2021 - Assistant Professor- Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
UNIVERSITY OF DHAKA:
Application in the prescribed form, obtainable from the office of the Registrar, are invited from the Bangladeshi nationals for filling up 01 (one) permanent post of Assistant Professor and 01 (one) permanent post of Lecturer in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the pay scale of Tk 35,500-67,0101- for Assistant Professor and Tk 22000-53,060/- for Lecturer (NPS-2015), respectively.
QUALIFICATION FOR ASSISTANT PROFESSOR:
Candidates must have a minimum first-class or in case of CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 in Honours and Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology or in an equivalent degree from a foreign University with minimum first divisions or in case of GPA/CGPA 4.25 out of 5.00 in S.S.C. & H.S.C. Examinations. They should have at least 03 (three) years of teaching experience in a University with 03 (three) research publications in standard journals. Publication in the Predatory journal will not be accepted. Experience and performance as a teacher as well as a significant contribution to different areas of University activities specially in guiding the overall educational and co-curricular activities of the students will also be treated as qualifications. Other qualifications being equal preferer. can be given to those who earned Ph.D. degrees.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR LECTURER:
Candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of scale 4.00 in Honours and Master's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with minimum first divisions or in case of GPA 4.25 out of 5.00 in S.S.C. & H.S.C.Examinations.Other qualifications being equal preference may be given to those who have higher degrees. One of the approved conditions of the S.S.C or H.S.C Examination may be relaxed to those who obtained first position/achieved highest CGPA in Honours or Masters degree.
Eight copies of application together with attested copies of certificates, testimonials, mark sheets, and proof of experience along with a Pay Order/Bank Draft of the value of Tk. 750/- (seven hundred fifty) only, payable to the Registrar, should reach him on or before 26.12.2021. Candidates already in service must apply through the proper channel.
